Full Circle.
Our shoes are made with a 360-degree stitch construction where the upper is stitched onto the sole. This means there are no hidden wasted raw materials which reduces unnecessary consumption. We also use a fraction of the glue needed in more traditional shoemaking methods.
Best of all, the construction allows the shoe to be dismantled easily at the end of its life and the recyclable and biodegradable components can be separated from each other.
Removable Footbed.
Working closely with our specialised partners we have developed an anatomical, breathable, removable and washable footbed that is 100% made from recycled materials! That is good news for your feet and the earth. The footbed is coated with OnSTEAM, which has such a massive range of benefits we had to include it. It is a bit of a wonder material being hypoallergenic, anti-bacterial, temperature-regulating and hydrophilic, which means it wicks moisture away from your feet. It also has a high resistance to abrasion, keeping your feet comfortable and fresh for mile upon mile. We are on the lookout for sustainable alternatives that are equally fit for purpose.
