We are based in Portugal and we are passionate and knowledgeable shoemakers with decades of experience. Finding ourselves increasingly uneasy about the negative impact of our industry on the planet, we have made it our mission to transform the traditional shoe making process into a sustainable endeavour.
At every step from factory to foot we make sure we are respectful of our customer and our planet.
Our shoes are designed with a construction that minimises consumption of materials and the use of glues. We are dedicated to local sourcing and manufacturing. We source biodegradable, recycled and recyclable raw materials where we can. If we can’t we will be straight with you. This applies to the packaging as well as the shoes.
Comfort and durability are key and we have road-tested and refined our shoes for many months before bringing them to the market.
Our shoes are constructed to be easily dismantled at the end of their life into separate components that can be recycled or composted.
